Many of the kittens with silver undercoating become a silvery color as they get older. Sparticus now weighs around 20 pounds. He is very affectionate.

Spartiacus at 1 1/2 years. He was my house buddy until he was 10 months old. We set up our Christmas tree and he sprayed on it. We then moved him to our cattery. We have noticed that he rarely sprays though. None of our Kings are bad about it. My Veterinarian advised not getting a male kitten neutered until they are 7 or 8 months old. The reason being is that if they get urinary problems when they get old it is nearly impossible to put a catheter in them if they were neutered at a young age because it closes the urinary tract too tight.
