Our Story Growing up on a farm my family always had a cat in the house as well as cats to keep the mice down in the barn. They were all tame as there were 6 kids in my family and we were always holding them. It was always comforting having a cat to snuggle with or feel it rub up and purr against my legs. However my husband and children were extremely allergic to them so we could not keep them in the house. Just touching them or going into someone's house who had a cat gave them hay fever and asthma. With the discovery of the Siberian cats and their hypoallergenic qualities, we are now able to enjoy them in our home. My husband can hold them as long as he desires. Some of my adult children and grandchildren are also allergic to cats and said they would love to have one so we decided to raise them. We are delighted to have cats in our home as well as being able to provide them to people who have been unable to enjoy having cats in their homes also.
My husband and I reside on 2 1/2 acres just south of Amarillo in the Texas Panhandle just minutes from the beautiful Palo Duro Canyon State Park.
